Canoeing!!!

Plan for Saturday 19th of SEPTEMBER

Hi everybody!
Last week we had a nice rookie hiking with a good group of new and old students. We went on cycle to the Bjorno island and had a short (half an hour) walk to the BBQ place and we did make a fire and met another group of students there and ate and drank a little bit and then some crazy ones swam in the lake and we went back to the Retaurant and had a fika and then went home!

This weekend lets have something more serious and we will meet on Bjorno at the parking place in front of the restaurant. We will rent Canoes and Kayaks and start our sailing trip at 10:00.

The number of the Canoes are limited so don't be late so that you can get one.

Afterwards we will have a BBQ and there is of course a restaurant if you want to eat there.

Another thing! You are coming to this canoeing trip on your own risk! :) We are all grown ups, or not?
The weather is going to be sunny, 19 degrees but windy, be prepared for that too.

How to go there

For those who don't know how to go to Björnö, we will have two different groups.
One GOING from Sundinska, leading by Mahgol.
And another one CYCLING from the Uni leading by me.

Sundiska group will leave at 10, you should meet near the entrance, for more information please refer to Mahgol mahgol.amin@gmail.com

The Uni group will meet at 11.10 at the Uni main entrance.

Some questions:
What if I leave in Sundinska but want to cycle to Björnö?
Join us at uni. Or take your bike with you and use it on the way back.'

What if I want to go to björnö but live near uni?
Same thing, just take the bus to Sundinska and join the team there, ask Mahgol to know more about the bus.

Do I HAVE to join?
No, it's just to make it easy for you to go there or funny. We will wait for you at the meeting point on björnö.

Can I go there by bus?
VL doesn't offer so many buses to Björnö so check the website, you can as well come on foot and come back by bus.

Hi dear friends!

I hope you nw commers take the chance to get to know more about the hiking club by joining the first Hike which is organized by Constance.

During the introduction week there was a good suggestion based on a need from the priest of the school.

As she said, there are some students who don't know how to ride ona bicycle or it has been a long time since they have done it and are little bit scared to start again.

We offer them help. Just contact me or constance and we can fix you a cycling session to help you with the principles.

Rookie - Hike

Hi everybody!
Let's meet on Björnö for a short welcoming hike and the launch of a new season of adventures!!
For the first day, we will have a short hike and a BBQ on Björnö's beach.
Bring food and drinks with you, and don't forget games! (beach volley?)

We will meet on the parking of björnö, near the restaurant, at 12.00 and walk through the forest to the beach. After our kick off we will walk a little bit more and back to our start point.
