Hello again!
Sammy decided to sleep after he partied Valborg in Uppsala! :) so we are ten people.
Eric is going to pick up Christiane, Tomas and Markus from Park Hotel at 9:00. Constance, Umesh, Melika and Bejörn will come to student Kåren at 9:00 and Mahgol and Clover are already there, finished with the work they started early tomorrow morning.
Constance says that sometimes I repeat everything too many times but I really think I need to do it again:
The weather will be cold, windy and rainy and the ground will be wet. Please try to wear good(waterproof) shoes. Bring one extra pair of shoes and socks if you don't have rubber boots. If it rains we are not going to use the paint and brush to mark the way but if not then be aware that your clothes might get painted so wear those taht you don't mind having them with some paint spots on them.
Take enough water and food with yourself and know that we are going to cut extra branches of the trees and make small bridges so it gonna be hard but hopefully fun with your good moods.
Eric has bought saws and axes but bring yours if you have by any chance. :)

Hi dear friends, concerning the hiking on this Saturday, there are three updates:

1- we got another car so we have place for 15 people of which 11 is already booked.

2- people who are already registered are: Bjorn, Melika, Constance, Clover, Mahgol, Tomas, Markus, Christiane, Eric, Umesh, Samy.

3- Since Clover and I are working on the early morning of Saturday we would like to move the meeting point and meeting time to 9 o clock in front of the student Karen in the university area but please just keep it in mind and check the final decision on friday.

Think about having rubber boots or extra shoes and socks.

Dear hikers,
Here is some information about the exciting hiking on this Saturday (May 1st)
We are going to gather by Park Hotel at 8 O'clock in the morning and get the instructions from Eric who is taking care of this program. We need to drive somewhere 30 to 40 KMs in north of Västerås so we need to know who is coming for sure to think about a place for him/her.
Right now we have two cars (Björn and Eric), Melika, Mahgol, Constance, Clover and Krista are following for sure. It leaves three free spaces. I will see if we can get one more car then more 5 people can join.
And as always our policy is: First-come, first-served so please be the first who calls me and books a place:

If you have access to car you can join as a whole group of 5 people but in that case you still need to let me know about it.
We will probably be out for 10 hours and need to have enough water, food and cookies with ourselves. It is highly recommended to have rubber boots because it will be extremely wet in the woods and having working gloves, clothes that if they get painted you don't mind so much and warm clothes in case it gets cold are required.
Eric will try to bring axes, saws and knives but if you have any please take it with you. We will mark the hiking way by paint and brush, cut extra branches of the trees on the way, make or repair the bridges and walk all the way to make sure it looks fine.

Hi dear friends.

This weekend there will be no hikes but we have made a report booklet about the hiking club. Some pictures will be printed and we will have a table in the student open exhibition which is on Tuseday next week in the university.

Please come and be with us at your own table next week.

If you want to know where it is on the map, just simply go to maps.google.com and type (lövudden,västerås, sverige) then you will ge to know where it it.

According to google maps it is just 5.5 kms and it takes 1 hour to walk there.

We have been there before and we know that there is fire places available but bring your own food to BBQ. according to the weather forcast it is not going to be so warm but sunny.

Since there is the ski trip the day before and some people may be too tired to wake up early and since some might party the night before lets meet 10:30 at the main train station, walk to the place, make fire and enjoy our time.

The way back is kind of easy so any body is free to go back when he/she feels like but I think we will go back around 4.

Please bring any outdoor games you have. such as balls or badminton bats or ....

Report on the Easter hike!

Hi dear hikers.

last week on Saturday the 3rd we were four people who got the train and went to Surahammar!

Mahgol, Maryam, Constance and Honza. But there in the station we met another happy friend: Patricia!

We went to a very nice spot on Bruksleden and got a long lunch rest in the warm sun.
We walked back to Surahammar and got the bus back at 20 past 5.

Those who wanted to come and didn't missed a lot since all of us got free BBQ stuff and the hiking club covered the trips because it was Easter!
